Bio

Ina Chen is a LA-based Artist, Creative Technologist, and Educator who blends art, technology, and storytelling to explore speculative futures and ancestral pasts. In recent years, Ina integrated game art and installations into her storytelling techniques. Her diverse and multicultural background, which spans Architecture, Philosophy, Music, and History, profoundly shapes her artistic vision. Ina’s work deconstructs traditional storytelling by utilizing real-time technology to create films, hybrid documentaries, and live cinema performances that provoke critical conversations..

Ina has been a member of the New Museum’s NEW INC incubator,  a resident artist at Culture Hub LA, and resident artist at Supercollider LA.  She also teaches Fiction and Entertainment, a postgraduate program at the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
